Woodlands is one of the few mixed farms left in the island who still growing Jersey Royals alongside their cows.
In 2001 Richard and Nicki stopped exporting their Jersey Royals and instead opened one of the first island honesty boxes; the Potato Shack at our farm gateway.
​These days  honesty boxes are a common sight all over the island and the Potato Shack has grown, even selling local beef before we set up our butchers on the farm, but we've never lost sight of how we started. Since the beginning we've always know there are a few things which really matter when you're dealing with Jersey Royals:

Fresh is best... we dig them everyday, field to fork in a matter of hours.
Size does matter... Sorted into the size you like - baby chats or monster ware?
Packaging... Paper bags never plastic, we never make our potatoes sweat!
